Hyderabad, Nov 15, 2025 — In a spectacular event at Ramoji Film City, filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli officially revealed the title of his highly anticipated movie as “Varanasi”, formerly known by its working title GlobeTrotter. The grand launch, attended by thousands of fans, also unveiled the first look of Mahesh Babu in the role of Rudhra.
Hosted by popular TV anchor Suma Kanakala alongside YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, the event had massive scale, featuring a gigantic 130 ft × 100 ft screen, bright lights, and thousands of cheering fans.
