How Has Peddi Performed — Analysis
Peddi stormed the box office on Day 1 with ₹51 crore net in India — one of the biggest single-day openings for a Telugu film in 2026. Including premiere shows, the film crossed ₹69.5 crore net and ₹110 crore worldwide within its first 24 hours, becoming only the 11th Telugu film ever to hit ₹100 crore worldwide on opening day.
After an expected 47% dip on Day 2 — a working Friday — Peddi recovered strongly over the weekend. Day 3 and Day 4 saw consecutive growth, with Sunday collections rising 10.6% over Saturday. By the end of Day 4, the film stood at ₹157.54 crore India net and ₹231.88 crore worldwide gross.
The overseas performance has been particularly strong, with the film grossing ₹42 crore internationally in just four days — among the highest for a Ram Charan film. The ₹300 crore worldwide mark is now the immediate target, and given the trajectory, it looks comfortably achievable within the first week.
Verdict
Peddi is a blockbuster. For Ram Charan — who had been waiting for a mass hit since RRR — this film marks a triumphant return. With solid weekday holds expected and ₹231 crore already in the bag, Peddi is firmly on course to be one of the biggest Telugu films of 2026.
